I don’t want to talk about mental health anymore.
I don’t want to share like before.
I don’t want to host a pod anymore.
I’m not the poster boy for mental health.
When people die it’s always “where are the activists”
I don’t know either.
I struggle too, and when I do I share.
Hoping someone knows they’re not alone.
But it’s never enough.
Mental health isn’t a popularity contest.
Mental health isn’t a trend to follow.
It isn’t something you talk about to win a beauty contest.
It’s people’s lives.
People who, often from my experience tend to not talk about it.
Because there’s so much misinformation out there.
From people that don’t know what it feels like to-
go to war with your own body.
See, when you misrepresent a cause you ruin the effort of people who genuinely want to raise awareness.
More reason for you to talk about it.
If you don’t , others will.
Others that know nothing about your struggle.
